The parapet itself is a bit fibery /hairy. I notice it more writing with pencil, but it’s beautiful and well made.

This journal is made well and looks great. It's been difficult finding a quality, handmade journal and now that I've found this creator, I'll certainly be ordering again.

Waited till I got to use it a bit before leaving a review. What I got was pretty much exactly what I was looking for when trying to find a minimalistic reliable journal. The cover itself is very flexible which I wasn’t expecting but I found I actually prefer to a more rigid cover as it makes flipping through the pages a lot easier. I really like that the paper is decently thick, I write with a .45mm micron pen and I have to apply a good amount of pressure for the ink to bleed through. Plenty of pages as well and the perfect pocket size that can fit just about anywhere without being too small to write and draw on. When I find myself in the position where I need a new journal, I would be hard pressed not to buy the same exact one.

My husband likes it overall, it is a good size, well made, and nice color/hue ((finish)). Looked for one for a while that would suit his needs and this did.
