5 out of 5 starsYou can't go wrong with this table. I searched long and hard for the right table on the internet and had no luck until I found this Etsy vendor. Superb quality and terrific to work with. It doesn't get better than this. It's great that I could get the right height, width, finish, base, and table edge. Totally customizable. As an interior designer with 30 years experience, I wish I had found Mr. Zinc table guy long ago. This would have saved me many headaches. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. Very easy to work with.

Is Zinc safe ?
Zinc has been used for centuries as a food preparation surface as it is non toxic, non porous and 100 percent food safe. It is often confused with Galvanized steel. Our tables are NOT galvanized steel.

What are the pros and cons of a zinc counter/table top?
Zinc is 100 percent food safe and non porous and has been used for centuries for kitchen work surfaces. It is a soft metal and should be treated the same way you would use a wood counter top. I age the zinc top but it will continue with time possibly showing drink rings, light scratches, reactions to spills etc which all blend to together to make a beautiful patina.
What materials do you use?
All my tables are made from materials diverted from the waste stream. I use those materials to create the table bases with a little vintage character to match the aged zinc top.
How do you package the tables?
My packaging isnt pretty! lol... I use clean cardboard and foam diverted from the waste stream instead of special new manufactured boxes. I always ensure they are safe.
Can zinc be refinished
Yes! The zinc is a solid layer (not a coating) and can be lightly sanded down to show a new finish. Any undesirable marks can be polished out with fine steel wool. Contact me if you need help.
