For three years while my husband attended law school, my little family and I lived in Tennessee. It was a place that instantly felt like home. Those were some of the happiest years of my life. Every Saturday night during the summer in downtown Nashville there was dancing in the park with a big band, lantern lights, and snow cones. As the sun set and the fireflies came out, people of every age would spread out blankets and dance together. As I thought about a name for my shop I couldn’t help but be drawn back to those nights of dancing, sitting on a quilt with family and friends, and watching the fireflies flicker in the trees. Those firefly nights were full of simple pleasures like twinkling lights, love, and a sense of belonging and home; they offered a little bit of happiness for everyone to enjoy. It is my hope that every item I make creates a little bit of those same feelings for you and your loved ones; your very own firefly night.
