Welcome to Little Beach Boutique where you will find an uplifting, colourful and unique range of screen-printed, kiln-fired glass, designed and produced in our shop and workspace in the North Laine, Brighton.
We make coasters, glass pictures, dishes and window panels, frequently made to order in your choice of colour and design. Our glass is made on site by owner-maker Suzanne O'Leary who draws on the city, sea and the South Downs for inspiration.
Each piece is made from layers of glass. Some items are screen-prints of Suzanne's original illustrations, inspired by nursery rhymes, the Sussex coast, themes of wanderlust and exploration and her love of nature. Other pieces are layered tiles, assembled from sheet, crushed or 'confetti' glass and metal inclusions such as copper. Each is kiln-fired for several hours, to form a tactile, individual piece, rich in colour and detail. Suzanne frames many of her pieces and writes expressions and poems by hand on the mount; these can also be personalised with your own names or words.
Suzanne also runs monthly fused glass workshops in her Brighton shop, so you have the opportunity to make your own individual piece of glass art!

5 out of 5 starsMy daughter loves the slippers. So much so she often requires to wear them in bed. Excellent quality and I see how warm they are keeping her feet. I worried she's have a hard time with them being too slippery on the wooden stairs, but not as issue. I'm very happy with this purchase!

As a passionate crafter, I discovered fused glass a few years ago on a weekend workshop. It soon went from a hobby to a full time pursuit, and I opened up my first shop on Brighton seafront in 2011. My range is inspired by the world around me.

Payment
PayPal is happily accepted, which accepts all major credit cards, and you do not need a PayPal account to check out.
Paying with credit card
Credit cards processed directly though etsy are happily accepted. Your order will be shipped to the address you select / enter in your etsy account at check out.
Alternatively, you can call me in my shop, Little Beach Boutique, and pay with a credit card over the phone - on 01273 697275. We are open 7 days a week.
Cheque
You can also pay by cheque and I will dispatch once this has cleared. Details are in the payment section.
I am very happy to ship as a gift to a friend or family member but please be sure their address is the one given as the ship-to address and if you require any special notes to be added to the package please leave this info for me as well!
Cancellations can be processed up until the date of dispatch.

Shipping
I send all parcels Second Class via Royal Mail, which is the most economic way. After dispatch, they can take about 2-3 days. Please choose the postage upgrade if you would like me to send them faster and I will send them first class, which means they should be with you within 1-2 days.
Please let me know if you would like me to request a signature on delivery. I am happy to cover the cost of this.
I am also happy to use other couriers if you would like me to - please let me know in advance.
Oversees deliveries are sent via Parcelforce, and I will insure them. I will confirm when the order is ready to dispatch, and provide you with tracking information.
US orders can take between 7-10 days to arrive after posting them. Australia and New Zealand can be a minimum of 10 days, so please take these timings into account if it is a gift for someone!
