Hi, I'm Alejandra, a single mom to a gaggle of incredible little boys, and every purchase from my shop supports our real-life family with bikes and every type of dump and "digger" truck in the mud of our backyard.

When I'm not chasing after my little nuggets, I'm busy creating art that comes straight from my heart.
I am an artist and painter- whether it's on wood, upcycled materials or a large-scale mural project.
My boys love to help me package orders, So please forgive if your stamp is crooked or there is a bit o crayon on your envelope. A very proud toddler was very excited to contribute.
I draw inspiration from the works of Georgia O'Keeffe, and I have a deep appreciation for dramatic chiaroscuro dark-light aesthetic and the rich, detailed style of Dutch and Flemish still lifes.
All the art you see in my Etsy shop is handcrafted by me. Each line and brush stroke is made with my own hands, and while some designs (like my pins) start as pencil drawings and are then digitized, the original artwork is always computer-free.
I'm on a journey to create more sustainable, less wasteful art, so you might notice fewer bags, mugs, and t-shirts if you've been around a while. I'm still finding my way, with a goal to shift toward more zero-waste art that is kinder to our planet.

FAQ: What does "A. Addison" stand for?
"A." is for Alejandra (That's me!). "Addison" was my beloved black lab who passed away from cancer before I had my children. She was my loyal "shop dog" in the studio, loved by all my art students. Addison taught me the beauty of simplicity: love, kisses, and sunshine.
