About

Upcycled accessories lovingly handcrafted from locally sourced secondhand shirts in Fargo, ND.

AENDEE was born of my passion for giving new life to old materials. My focus is on sustainability, storytelling, and style - which is why I use secondhand materials whenever possible. From fabric to tie lining & notions - I do my best to reduce waste in the process of making my items. My goal is to reclaim gently used materials and maximize their use in new high quality goods that you can wear with pride.

I made my very first necktie in the summer of 2012 as a special request from a friend. After seeing success selling my neckties at a local consignment boutique I began selling at craft fests and within a year moved my business into a small sewing studio & storefront space in the heart of downtown Fargo, ND.

After operating the AENDEE storefront & studio for a little over 3.5 years I closed shop in April 2017 to dedicate myself more fully to creating a thriving online business. Etsy has been a huge part of my success!

I was born & raised in the suburbs of Chicago, IL where I taught myself to sew as a teenager. After pursuing a degree in Philosophy & Art I found myself with a small studio in the heart of my new home of Fargo, ND where AENDEE was born in 2012.
