I live on Long Island as an interior decorator, seamstress, artist, junk repurposeur and huge fan of all things made with love, sweat and tears (happy ones of course).

I design and sew pillow covers, floor pillows, table linens, and pet bed covers using high end designer fabric. The shop was named "Ain't That A Stitch" because while my products are crafted with quality fabric, construction and attention to detail, the humor lies in the irony that no two pillows are ever the same.

How did I get started? One day, my boss at the time gave me a sewing machine along with a closet full of designer fabric remnants which I had no idea what to do with. I knew enough to agree that such eye candy deserved to come out of that closet. So I brought it all home with me and taught myself how to sew. It became my favorite hobby and a year later “Ainthatastitch” was born. It's been sewing pretty hard in my studio ever since.

My process revolves around fabric colors and patterns and the inspiration it gives me to create mini collections. My signature style is ever-evolving and I like experimenting with fabric to create something unique, something I want for myself and something I can be proud of.
