I began crocheting as a teenager.
Hi!
My name is Alane Marie and I learned to crochet as a teenager and loved making things for my friends and family. Then I started my family and didn't have much time to crochet.
Seven years ago the grandchildren started coming and I decided I would make each one a special blanket. Now we have 14 grandchildren with two more on the way! We have 8 kids between my husband and I and they have been busy!
Slowly I started experimenting with all the great things you can do with crochet. I mastered hats and scarves then moved on to creating fun hats. I soon learned that you can make almost anything with crochet. Even letters and numbers. The first photo props I made were the puppy and the football cocoon for one of the grandkids. He is pictured wearing them on the site. Next was the little mermaid outfit and it went on from there. People would make special requests and I would give it a try. Many of the things I make are made from my own patterns. I write them up quickly and may someday write them so someone else can read them!
I would love to make something special for you, your children, grandchildren or for your friends.
