This was my brick-and-mortar store front. An old bank building built in 1921 that we were fortunate to own.

Almost Necessities

I have been in retail for a very long time. My husband & I started out making wood reindeer planters as a fundraiser for our nephew who needed a liver transplant. That was nearly 40 years ago. We moved on to craft shows. Then in 1992 we opened our own shop in Enumclaw, WA in an old house. A year later we moved to a better location downtown. The next year Enumclaw National Bank building (built in 1921) became available, and we were fortunate to land the lease. We had two shops for a while, but it was way too much work, so we moved everything to the bank building location. It's a great building right in the middle of town that we now own. I retired after Christmas in 2019 and now have more time to make aprons and scented coasters for my Etsy shop besides trying to keep up with the cookie cutter sales.
Several years ago, a customer introduced me to Etsy. I've been hooked ever since.
