The speed of the tarnishing process may be controlled by following these easy steps:
-Do not rub lotions or spray perfumes while wearing your jewelry.
-Take your jewelry off when cleaning. Chemicals will tarnish your jewelry black.
-Always store your jewelry in an oxygen and humidity free environment. Place it in a bag, sealed box, or air-tight container.
-Never leave your jewelry in the bathroom.
-If you perspire heavily, sweat will turn your piece black faster. Take jewelry off when exercising or dry it with a cotton cloth if you forget to take it off.
-Use the complimentary anti-tarnish strip/polishing cloth to prevent your piece from turning black.
