Hello, I'm Denae, owner and creator behind Ami Amore. I am a happily married, stay at home mom to two little boys, and an avid creator and artist. Creating things with my hands and heart is a huge part of who I am, it's something I believe I was created to do.
I love making and designing crochet animals, which started back in 2012. I taught myself how to make amigurumi soon after I was married and enjoyed it as a creative outlet in the evenings after work. As someone who is not good at following recipes or patterns, I started creating my own designs and sold a tiny penguin within the first week of opening this shop! I couldn't believe that I could successfully selling crochet toys online! When my son was born a few years later, I realized I couldn't keep up with selling handmade amigurumi anymore. I turned to selling my patterns instead and I haven't looked back!
My primary focus for Ami Amore is creating detailed patterns so you can easily make a toy yourself! I hope you enjoy them all!
