Nosotros, Oded Dekel e Ilan Doktor, somos los propietarios de Artisaneffect y AtisanFeel socios y amigos desde hace casi 36 años.
Nuestro primer encuentro fue a la edad de 14 años. Ambos aprendimos en la escuela secundaria de artes donde estudiamos escultura, cerámica, dibujo y diseño y nos fascinó el mundo del arte. Nos sentamos en la misma mesa de la escuela y casi instantáneamente nos convertimos en almas gemelas.
A la edad de 21 años hicimos las maletas y viajamos juntos por toda Europa. Comenzamos en la colorida Ámsterdam, donde solíamos vender pinturas en las calles. Los pasajeros que vieron nuestros dibujos fueron tocados y los compraron. Después de un tiempo nos mudamos a España, donde en un majestuoso valle construimos un estudio de cerámica en la naturaleza. Construimos las estufas primitivas de leña y de una vieja lavadora. Nuestras primeras joyas fueron creadas a partir de piedras locales que encontramos en la naturaleza. ¡Nos encantó! Desde entonces, comenzamos a vender nuestras joyas a galerías de arte de toda Europa y Estados Unidos.
Hoy en día, pasamos la mayor parte de nuestro tiempo en nuestro estudio en Pardes Hannah creando joyas hechas a mano utilizando métodos tradicionales y disfrutando de cada minuto. Nos dedicamos a nuestra creatividad y habilidades. Hemos desarrollado técnicas que resuenan poderosamente a través de nuestros diseños de joyería tradicionales y contemporáneos, con la artesanía y el detalle de las antiguas culturas yemeníes y de Oriente Medio, creando un aspecto distinto para cada pieza de joyería.
Al trabajar utilizando una variedad de habilidades y materiales (plata de ley, oro y piedras preciosas) creamos una mezcla poco convencional de diseños tradicionales, contemporáneos y étnicos. El uso de intrincado trabajo de filigrana en nuestros diseños demuestra el impacto de las diferentes culturas de nuestro trabajo.
We, Oded Dekel and Ilan Doktor, are the owners of Artisaneffect and AtisanFeel partners and friends for almost 36 years now.
Our first encounter was at the age of 14. We both learned in the arts high school where we studied sculpture, ceramics, drawing and design and were fascinated by the world of art. We sat at the same school table and almost instantly became Soul mates.
At the age of 21 we packed our bags and traveled together throughout Europe. We started in colorful Amsterdam, where we used to sell paintings in the streets. Passengers who saw our drawings were touched and bought them. After a while we moved to Spain, where in a majestic valley we built a ceramics studio in nature. We built the primitive stoves from wood and from an old washing machine. Our first jewels were created from local stones we found in nature. We loved it! Since then, we started selling our jewelry to art galleries all over Europe and the USA.
Today, we spend most of our time at our studio in Pardes Hannah creating handmade jewelry using traditional methods and enjoying every minute of it. We dedicate ourselves to our creativity and skills. We have developed techniques that resonate powerfully through our traditional and contemporary jewelry designs, with the craftsmanship and detail of old Yemeni and Middle Eastern cultures, creating a distinct look for each piece of jewelry.
By working using variety of skills and materials (sterling silver, gold and gemstones) we create an unconventional mixture of traditional, contemporary and ethnic designs. The use of intricate filigree work in our designs demonstrates the impact of different cultures of our work.
