I have always loved creating, when I was in high school I took wood shop and was the photographer for yearbook. I started sewing and making art quilts in my early 20's, I also started painting ceramics, and took some pottery classes. In my early 30's I started painting, mainly in acrylic and watercolor, I love being able to make things. I have always been told no matter what I am making, be it a floral arrangement, a quilt, a handmade book or jewelry that I should sell what I make because everyone loves it. I never really took that seriously but always wanted to. So about 3 years ago I started selling my things at a local store on consignment. I was excited that people were buying my things and this encouraged me to keep going. Then my husband lost his job, and my life was turned upside down. We sold everything we had and moved into an RV, in that process I lost my art studio and my creative mojo just kinda stopped. Living is such a small space with two children still at home was a learning curve... fast forward... I began to embrace the tiny living movement that although I didn't choose to begin with, I didn't feel like I was missing out on much except for having a place to create. This is when I started working with Jewelry and wire. It was something that didn't take up as much room as all my other creative things. Then I bought an 18 foot pull behind travel trailer, that someone had gutted and turned into a tattoo parlor... well this was now going to be my art studio. Over the last 8 months we completely gutted it and now we are making it into the studio I have missed so dearly. We are so close to being finished I couldn't be more excited!! So all this leads me to wanting to take my craft online. I truly love to create and it makes me so happy when others love my work, it inspires me to see other people smile and love what I make.
