I impulsively bought the Mirrors of the Heart deck after seeing one photo of one card on an old blog post I don't remember where. It feels special to have a print of this deck based on linocut prints from 1994. I was 11 when the art was made, and for some reason this feels emotionally important to me. I am grateful to have this simple deck, because it feels so touched by Lily S. May's creativity and artistic energy. The 43 keywords are simple and expansive. She even included a hand-inked postcard as a thank you, and a cute piece of cloth as a wrapper! One drawback due to the self-printed nature of the cards and the age of the print run (2017) is the cardstock is yellowing at the edges and the corners could be rounded for a smoother shuffling/hand-feel. I don't mind this though, and this isn't a barrier to enjoying the deck.

These cards are so beautiful! I love them! A lot of thought went into each design, and they are very nicely printed. I like the monochrome simplicity and how it works to advantage with the lino-cuts. I do wish the backs of the Oracle cards didn’t have any script with website.etc. on them, but I suppose the artist wanted her information on each one??? Also, it would be nice if they came in a box instead of loose. Otherwise, these are definitely some of my favorite cards in my collection. Highly recommend them for their uniqueness and handmade feel - and that special ah!
