Design at play - Retro-inspired design & illustration that inspires adventure, play, & simplicity.

There's nothing better than time spent outdoors; Among the trees, under the stars, or travelling to new destinations. With the complexities and stresses of modern life, finding moments to play, relax, and unplug are important to maintain a healthy well-being.

In my shop you'll find original, retro-inspired illustrations that are meant to take people to a more simple place, to bring back memories of adventures had long ago, or inspire adventures yet to be had.

I operate my shop from my basement suite with a little help from my boyfriend and 4-year old border collie x husky - who I'm always adventuring with in my free time.

The product I carry is produced with the help of awesome individuals and small businesses that have ethical work practices, pay their employees a livable wage, and provide me with high quality pieces. This business model allows me to collaborate with some amazing people who specialize in production. This, in turn, allows me to focus my creative efforts on design, researching new product, and running my Etsy shop as efficiently as possible.

My work is influenced by the nature that surrounds me and the whimsical, playful, and, sometimes, cheeky nature of my personality. It is also reflective of the life I want to live; Happy, colourful, adventurous.

When you buy, share, or interact with me and my shop, you're helping to support me as an artist and allowing me to continue to grow this little business into something beyond my wildest dreams. So thank you for your interest in my stuff.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my order?

Most often, orders that haven't arrived yet are simply delayed because of customs, weather, or your location. Due to this, shipping times can vary greatly. Refer to estimated shipping times for more details. If you're witin the shipping time window, hang tight! You should see it very soon.

Standard shipping / lettermail, does not come with tracking so unless you select Tracked Package on checkout, I will be unable to locate your order.

If you're outside of the shipping time window, please check the address that was used in your order as that is typically another common reason for lost orders.

I cannot honor missing or lost item inquiries beyond 90-days of the shipping date.

What do I do if the order was shipped to the wrong address?

These things happen so I'll make every effort to make it right at no cost to you. However, it gets trickier if I've already shipped it to an incorrect address.

If an incorrect address was entered by the customer, I will wait for the order to get returned to me before proceeding. Once returned, I will cancel the order and have you purchase another with the appropriate address. This is for the protection of both customer and myself to be covered under Etsy's Buying & Selling Policies.

If you would rather not wait for item to be returned to me, you're more than welcome to purchase a 2nd and I will refund you the item cost - minus the original shipping cost - when the original is returned.

How do you calculate shipping costs?

Shipping costs pay for material, postage, & handling. The profiles I provide, are reflective of the most accurate & inexpensive shipping cost possible based on the item you are buying (item qty, weight, size, location).

Orders are shipped between Mon & Fri, 8am, with the exception of holidays. Please see shop announcement section for special details.

I am not responsible for lost or stolen items. This matter should be taken up with your local post office. To help guarantee delivery, selecting the Tracked Package option is recommended.

What kind of adhesive are on the stickers?

Bumper stickers use a removable adhesive while all other stickers use permanent adhesive, which will be tougher to remove without ruining the sticker.

Please keep this in mind when choosing a location to place your sticker.

When applying stickers, ensure the surface is clean and dry before applying.

Can I hire you for a logo or custom sticker?

I occasionally accept commissions based on the request. Please contact me with the details and I will get back to you on my availability.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk discounts?

If you are a retailer and are interested in carrying my product in your store, I do offer wholesale pricing on most of my items through Etsy Wholesale. Please contact me and I can share my linesheet with you. If you do not have an account yet, I would recommend applying for one, to save you time when you're ready to order:

If you're are simply looking to buy a few extra of something, I do offer a small discount on orders over 15. Please inquire.

How do I apply my iron-on patch?

Iron on patches can be ironed onto cotton, denim and wool.
DO NOT APPLY iron on patches to waterproof rainwear, highly elasticized fabrics, rayon, nylon or similar fabrics.

Remember patches can also be sewn onto fabric or garments with a single or double stitch by sewing along the border of the patch for extra security.

When using an iron, set it to cotton (up to 350 degrees farenheit).
Place a damp cloth over the patch and iron onto desired fabric or garment while applying firm pressure for 30 seconds.

Allow patch to cool for 5 minutes.

Turn fabric over or garment inside-out and iron the area behind the patch applying firm pressure again for another 30 seconds.

Allow area to cool for 5 minutes.

How do I apply hook-backed patches?

You can add these patches to any loop-type surface. These types of surfaces can be found on specialty hats, backpacks, car headliners, and patch mats. If you don't have anything like that, you can easily purchase it at your local hardware store, sewing/fabric store, or pharmacy.

How do I wash my patch?

Always turn the garment inside out during washing & use a gentle cycle or hand wash.

Air dry.

Never use hot water or a hot dryer or you risk loosening iron-on patches.
