I founded Back Porch Soap Company in 1998. I'm a Jackson Hole, Wyoming resident and inspired daily by life in and around Grand Teton National Park, Yellowstone, and anywhere my travels take me.
For as long as I can remember, I have been inspired by nature to create beautiful things. As a young girl, I grew up in central Illinois and as much time as I could outside in nature, studying its energy and sacred geometry.
In addition to selling handmade bath and body products, I consult with beauty brands of all sizes in the area of market research, product formulation and social media marketing.
I began teaching organic cosmetic formulation workshop in 2003 in Boston and currently New York City. I'll be traveling to the West Coast in 2016. I've taught workshops at Wellesley College, for General Electric's leadership team development, have spoken at numerous conferences as well as contribute articles to industry publications.
