The Evolution of Baubbly
As many crafters do, I played with lots of mediums before settling on jewelry. For years I made pieces that were nice, but not MY dream jewelry. In the past couple of years I have been working toward making pieces that I, personally, would want to buy and wear. I'm finally there-I will choose a piece that I have made from my jewelry box, over the many items I have purchased from other wonderfully creative artists. Yay!
One thing I value when making any purchase is practicality and usefulness: How often will I use it? How will it hold up? Will I get tired of it? Will it improve my life in some way? I keep these questions in mind when designing Baubbly jewelry...I strive to make pieces that can be worn every day, that make you feel good when you put it on. Much of the Baubbly line can be reversed, or worn in a different way, adding to it's usefulness, because...who doesn't love a 2-for-1 deal?
