Hi, I’m Brenda, and I’m an abstract painter. I never imagined my art hobby would resonate with others, and that connection with myself and others motivates me to create.
Growing up, I was always a creative kid, and I credit that to my mom. I spent hours knitting, crocheting, and sewing. My main love became writing. Writing poetry and monologues has gotten me through some difficult times. But I found that sometimes words just aren’t always enough.
The first painting I sold was titled “The Anxious Mind.” I found painting to be a therapeutic and productive outlet for my ongoing struggles with anxiety and depression. This first piece was an outward manifestation of these struggles that were difficult for me to understand, yet alone write about.
Abstract art is a unique art in that it is able to represent feelings and experiences we are unable to name or even describe. I hope you find a painting that resonates with you, and if you don’t see one here, please message me! I’m happy to collaborate with you to create a custom piece that is meaningful to you or a loved one. Thank you for stopping by my corner of the world.

Custom and personalized orders
I can create a custom abstract painting for your space! Send me a message with some details on what you are looking for, including size, colors, and style. Photos of your space and style are helpful, too! I look forward to creating a unique piece for your home.
Care instructions
Most of my paintings are protected with a high quality varnish (my listings indicate whether or not a piece is varnished). Simply dust or gently wipe your painting to clean it. Over many years, dust and dirt may collect on the surface of the varnish. Varnish can be professionally removed in most cases without damaging the painting. Please contact me for questions regarding my process for specific pieces. I’m happy to help!
