Beautiful book, one of a kind

~So far as the ordering and shipping process = perfect. ~As a guy who would prefer to walk or use public transportation as opposed to driving myself--because I get to observe so much more that way--the title INTERSECTION seems quite right to this collection. When I visualize standing at an intersection, I think about taking in everything coming and going with all of my senses. I experienced a similar (more virtual) experience through these issues. ~When I began with the first issue, I decided to select which I enjoyed the most. This was a futile attempt to comment upon which struck me most profoundly, because in the end...I had a pile of ones I wanted to comment on. So, in this brief review I will not do so. luke kurtis shows me in this series that we view the world around us very similarly. Nicely so. ~Patrick

I enjoyed reading this, immensely. I suppose the fact luke's experiences and my own are vastly different in our coming out scenarios, it proved an interesting read for me in hearing a different perspective from my own. While the details of, and the circumstances between our lives differ...the similarities are striking. In terms of those closest to us - I believe most everyone has experienced the painful realization in being authentic and true to ourselves when in opposition to their expectations, we in-no-uncertain-terms understand we are 'a disappointment.' In terms of the moments which validate us...yes, they give us the strength to endure, to persevere, and remind us that being less-than-authentic, even for the sakes of those who declare us defected, hurts us deeper and longer.
