I love working with my hands. The texture and colors of ceramics are compelling to me. The material itself represents nature and our connection to the earth. The changes that clay goes through the ceramics process - starting earthy and malleable and transforming in the heat to something shiny, hard and permanent - if endlessly fascinating.

My work is influenced by natural and ancient symbols. I feel they represent all that can be missing in modern life: our connection to nature, our bodies, our families, the cycle of the seasons.

I've been creating and selling pendants, beads and buttons since the mid-1990's. When I found Etsy in 2007, I opened my shop immediately. The open platform where customer and artist can connect so seamlessly is a pleasure.

Recently I have teamed up with my partner and we have started making soap. We were looking for products that are completely natural - organically sourced materials whenever possible, only pure essential as scents. I'm excited to offer this natural soap here.
