Quiero que los niños experimenten la magia del arco iris, la fantasía y los dulces sueños. Quiero ser amable con la tierra y usar lo que ya existe. Quiero que las personas grandes sepan que la infancia no tiene que terminar solo porque hayan crecido. Mis juguetes, peluches y otros dulces están diseñados con colores caprichosos y vibrantes y detalles felices, luego hechos a mano con cosas de segunda mano y telas ecológicas para hacer realidad todos estos sueños.

He estado diseñando y creando cosas con lo que tenía a mi alrededor durante más tiempo del que puedo recordar, pero en algún momento, decidí que hacer algo basado en las artes con mi vida era poco práctico y probablemente imposible. Tomó el nacimiento de mi hijo para traerlo de vuelta a la luz. Me inspiré y quise hacer juguetes hermosos y únicos para él. Cuando era un bebé, lo llevaba a la tienda de segunda mano conmigo y comencé a ver la ropa de manera diferente: los estantes de camisetas a rayas brillantes se convirtieron en un arco iris de pequeños conejitos gordos, el suéter de lana amarilla era un peluche de pollo ... y así empezó esto.

Llevo más de 10 años reduciendo, reutilizando y divirtiendo con los diseños de Beeper Bébé. En 2019 finalmente decidí que era hora de hacer de este mi trabajo REAL a tiempo completo (a pesar de que nunca se siente como un trabajo, ¡al igual que ahora vivo en la tierra más mágica compuesta de juguetes, imaginación y tiendas de segunda mano todos los días!)

I want kiddos to experience the magic of rainbows, make-believe, and sweet dreams. I want to be kind to the earth and use what already exists. I want big people to know that childhood doesn’t have to end just because they’ve grown up. My toys, plushies and other wee confections are designed with whimsy, vibrant colors and happy details, then handcrafted from secondhand stuff and eco-friendly fabrics in order to make all of these dreams come true.

I've been designing and creating things with what I had around me for longer than I can remember, but at some point, I decided that doing something arts-based with my life was impractical and probably impossible. It took the birth of my son to bring it back out into the light. I was inspired and wanted to make beautiful and unique toys for him. When he was a baby, I would take him to the thrift store with me and I started seeing the clothes differently--the racks of brightly striped tees became a rainbow of fat little bunnies, the yellow wool sweater was a chicken plushie...and that's how this began.

I’ve been reducing, re-using & amusing with Beeper Bébé designs for over 10 years now. In 2019 I finally decided it was time to make this my REAL full time job (even though it never ever feels like a job--just like I now live in the most magical land made up of toys, imagination and thrift stores every single day!)

Made for little people and the little people inside of big people. Come play.
