We accept payments through Paypal, credit cards, debit cards, Etsy gift cards and some international payment methods supported by Direct Checkout.
All orders must be paid at checkout.

If you live in Portugal and you prefer to pay by bank transfer please contact us.

All destination expenses duties/taxes etc. will be paid by receiver.

All available items will be shipped in 1-3 business days, after receipt of payment.

We will always ship to the address on the etsy invoice. However, if you want to receive it in another address, please let us know.

WHERE ARE THEY MADE AND BY WHO?
Orikomis are produced by us at our studio in Lisbon, Portugal.

DO YOU HAVE A STORE IN LISBON?
Our studio is located in central Lisbon and although it is not a store, everybody that is interested can come here and meet us, see our products or even buy them.

IS THE PAPER RESISTANT? WHAT IS THE THICKNESS OF THE PAPER USED?
Orikomis are made with high quality 160gr paper, with high cotton content combined with mechanical resistance, complies with the ISO 9706 standard on permanence, a guarantee of durability and conservation.

DO YOU OFFER CUSTOMIZED SIZES AND COLOURS?
Yes, we can customize them for smaller or bigger sizes. Please let us know which colour would you be interest in and we will check with our paper supplier. We will be happy to do a custom order for you!

FAQ's BEFORE BUYING

WHAT CAN YOU FIND IN A ORIKOMI BOX?
Orikomis are shipped mounted in a cardboard box. Product comes with Instructions and Ethical Statement.

DO I NEED TO BUY THE CORD SET?
You can buy the cord set from us or use one that you already have. If you have your own standard cord set don't worry, our lampshade will fit perfectly.

DOES THE CORD SET WORK WITH OVERSEAS LIGHT BULBS?
The ceiling lamps cord sets are compatible with any electrical system. The table lamps have an EU plug, so if you live in a country that uses another type of
electrical plugs (for example, Australia or US), you just have to use an adapter.

WHAT TYPE OF LIGHT BULB SHOULD I USE AND WHAT WOULD BE THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE?
If you buy one of our cord sets you will have to use an E27 light bulb. The lamp should ONLY be used with an energy saving light bulb (or any similar fixtures with low heat generation like LED). Regarding the light's temperature, we recommend you to use a 3000k bulb (warm white). For intensity we recommend 900lm / 15W LED but you can use lamps with more intensity.

HOW MUCH LIGHT DO THE LAMPSHADES ALLOW OR BLOCK?
Our lampshades allow the light to pass through the paper when the light is on, however light intensity may vary depending on paper colours.

HOW ACCURATE ARE THE COLOURS IN THE PICTURES?
Colours may appear slightly different in photos and on different screens. Unfortunately we can not control it perfectly when taking the photos.

HOW TO CLEAN?
You can easily clean your Orikomi with a feather duster.
