My jewelry interest began when I was majoring in art at college. On my way to art class one day, I noticed a large door standing open to a large workshop. The room was full of so many tools and jewelry items. My eyes couldn't take it all in. I was overwhelmed & found myself smiling at all the things I was seeing... metal, tools, jewelry & stones. Finally, one day, I decided to learn how to make metalsmith jewelry on my own. I began reading about various techniques and eventually bought the tools needed to begin crafting. I quickly fell in love with all the colors & types of gemstones too. That ultimately led to my desire to cut stones. I love rock hunting, especially hunting for rare Kentucky agate. I have such a love of art that it's no wonder I always want to try something new. I have tried my hand at stained glass, mordant etching, woodburning, colored pencil jewelry, making lampwork beads, and fusing glass using kiln casting techniques. Despite all this love, it didn't take me long to realize I was taking on too much. I narrowed it down to just metalsmith jewelry and stones. I have done metalsmith work since 2004. I have been blessed to craft so long, and I hope those who purchase my one of a kind jewelry treasure them for years.
