Quirky Mixed Media Art

"So, how did you come up with this idea?" I started creating whimsical wood block pencil or paint brush holders for gifts. From there the idea evolved into representing famous people and comical characters. Each one has an uplifting (or just an amusing) message— a quote or song lyric (maybe one that brings back memories?) All are created using salvaged wood, oil paint sticks and found objects. I hope these quirky characters with bottle cap eyes will make you smile. Custom orders are welcome. You can follow me on:
