Hello everyone, thank you so much for stopping by my shop here on Etsy! My goal is to create unique, one-of-a-kind keepsake items for your wedding day! I specialize in bespoke wedding garters and unique birdcage veils but also carry some pretty vintage items for the big day!

Growing up my mom loved to collect vintage jewelry so I think that's where my love of vintage comes from. I spend many hours searching local antique shops looking for unique jewelry pieces to add to my creations. Sometimes I will just pick up something that catches my eye and I don't have a specific project in mind but I have it on hand for the right moment! I love doing custom garters and when I get a requests from clients I often find that I have a vintage piece that will be a perfect fit! I also love vintage hankies as you will see from my Vintage Handkerchief section in my shop!

In 2009, I discovered Etsy over coffee with my friend and neighbour and fell in love with all the unique and creative artisans and their wares. After 25 years in the corporate world, I was faced with some health challenges and decided it was time for a big change! I have always loved to sew and my neighbour suggested making wedding garters (at the time she was making beautiful wedding gowns) and our businesses could compliment one another. The idea was born and my Etsy shop opened.

I was born in London, England and grew up in Glasgow, Scotland before immigrating to Toronto in 1977. I have a nice selection of tartan and Celtic pieces that reflect my connection to Scotland and Ireland. I now live in Angus, Ontario with my husband and two rescued cats. My other passion is animals and I have volunteered with a number of animal charities over the last several years.
