Well, a Catholic rebel anyway. If you’re new here, I’m Bri, or Brizee as my family and friends know me by.
I started painting and hand crafting art pieces way back in 2007 when I lived in Seattle, WA. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a full time business as I had success vending at art shows and craft fairs around the Seattle area, and the greater Pacific Northwest. (Some if you may know my work from the years of ‘Mourning Market’ in the city.)
In early 2019, as the Prince of Bel Aire would say “my life got flipped turned upside down” and I subsequently made a life altering move from the northwest to Tucson (Arizon-ia 🧛🏻♂️🦇)- and then, the pandemic hit.
My selling of artwork since has since been completely online, and after an almost two year long hiatus from my work I am finally back, and leveled up.
My art is inspired by mostly esoteric/ occult and Catholic baroque influences when it comes to aesthetic. Although I was raised Catholic and often do artwork inspired by Satanism it is only a commentary when it comes to views on religion. I respect both ends of the spectrum regarding Christian’s and Satanists- and as much as I hate to disappoint, I’m not creating my pieces by summoning fourth the dark forces to do my bidding- I mean, not yet anyway.
