About

We're open!

Hello and thanks for visiting my shop!

My name is Johana M Liddy. I'm happily married with two crazies and one dog. I was born in Chicago, Illinois, raised in Miami, Florida and produced in Medellin, Colombia. I currently live in Sanatoga, PA, am a full-time mommy and freelancer of everything art!

I started my shop on Instagram May 7th of 2015. I started with bubble gum jewelry. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. Then I thought…I know how to draw and paint, why not try painting beads instead? On October 16, 2015 I posted my first hand painted necklace on Instagram and received my first 100 likes on a post lol. Prior to this post I had been averaging 30 likes per pic. I’m a statistics girl…I knew this was the route I had to take. And so here we are! I sell mainly through IG/invoicing and craft fairs. My 2017 goal is to start selling mainly through Etsy! That being said - if my Etsy is on vacation check my Instagram @bubblechicchick.

My family is my number one supporter. My mother made the first official order through Etsy, which brings me much joy. My daughter models, my son helps me pick colors and puts his two cents into EVERYTHING lol. Last, but not least...my husband says "we're going to become rich off of beads"...now I know that's a long shot, and that's ok. I don't want to be rich, I want to be happy. And this makes me happy!

Hope you enjoy my items as much as I enjoy creating them!

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

Yes I do custom orders. Ask and you shall receive!

Sizing details

All necklaces are sized to fit over an adult head and can be adjusted to fit children (unless stated otherwise in the listing). I use a small bead to finish the necklace that allows you to pull from either side to tighten.

Care instructions

I use a protective coating on these to prevent them from getting dirty. If the necklaces get dirty use a slight humid rag to wipe clean. DO NOT vigorously wipe your bead. DO NOT wet or store in humid environments. As with any jewelry you should handle with care.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All hand painted/full priced necklaces are packaged in open window tin cans. This packaging does not cost you extra and is not included in the pricing. I use it because I have the need to make things look pretty. If your necklace does not arrive in a tin can I either ran out and am waiting on a new shipment, your necklace/item was too large, you purchased on a super sale. If this is the case they will arrive in a clear resealable baggy.

All bracelet holders are packaged in a clear paint can to show off its details. I velcro the bottoms to the can itself for extra safety.

All cans/packaging includes a sticker with my info on the bottom for easy reference or a business card.
