Tangled Artist Comes Out of Her Shell
J'ai été illustratrice toute ma vie. L'une de mes premières œuvres est devenue le logo de ma première entreprise de tampons en caoutchouc. J'ai poursuivi la tradition (de récolter l'art des enfants) avec mes propres enfants - mon fils a commencé sa propre ligne de tampons à l'âge de quatre ans - et ma fille est la plus jeune artiste Zentangle® publiée. Sa création, le Lilah Bean, est la star d'une bande dessinée et adorée par des tonnes d'enfants (et pas mal d'adultes aussi).
Bumblebat, ma boutique Etsy, a commencé à vendre mon livre auto-publié, AlphaTangle, en 2009 (environ) et vend maintenant tous mes livres ainsi que des fournitures d'emmêlement.
Introvertie déterminée à l'origine, je suis passionnée par la créativité et j'enseigne/aide les gens (de tous âges) à se souvenir de la joie qu'ils ont ressentie en dessinant et en coloriant. Tout le monde a encore une étincelle de créativité en soi - déclencher cette étincelle peut changer des vies !
I've been an illustrator my entire life. One of my earliest works became the logo for my first rubber stamp company. I've continued the tradition (of harvesting kid art) with my own children - my son started his own line of stamps at age four - and my daughter is the youngest published Zentangle® artist. Her creation, the Lilah Bean, is the star of a comic book and loved by tons of kids (and quite a few grown-ups too).
Bumblebat, my Etsy shop, started out selling my self-published book, AlphaTangle, in 2009 (or so) and now sells all my books as well as tangling supplies.
Originally a determined introvert, I am passionate about creativity and teaching/helping people (of all ages) to remember the joy they felt when drawing and coloring. Everyone still has a spark of creativity in them - igniting that spark can change lives!
