I don't remember ever not wanting to make things. I think my favorite gift that I received as a child was a simple cardboard shoe box that my mother put together for me with the words "Debbie's Busy Box" on the lid. Inside was a treasure trove of creative goodness.....markers, paints, crayons, scissors, glue, tape and paper.
And then one day, my daughter became a Zeta Tau Alpha. She was so excited, and I wanted to do something special for her, so I created my Zeta Tau Alpha "Seek the Noblest" print and mailed it off to her. She loved it, and the response from her sorority sisters and friends was so overwhelming that I started designing new prints and carrying them in my Etsy shop, where I was already selling paper star lantern cutting files. Soon, my print designs outnumbered the cutting files, so I moved the cutting files to their own shop, SVG Paper Design.
It fills me with so much joy to be able to do what I'm doing. Each and every order is created and filled in house (literally) by me from start to finish, with lots of love and prayers for its recipient. I hope you enjoy looking around. :)
