About Solaris Moon
I’m a Southern crone practicing Witchcraft through a secular, animist lens. My work offers a grounded, practical approach to magick, one that steps outside of Wiccan and New Age frameworks and focuses instead on discernment, self-trust, and real-world application. I’m passionate about demystifying non-religious magickal practice in ways that help modern Witches reclaim their power and move beyond Christian cultural conditioning, patriarchy, and toxic positivity.
My roots run deep. Raised in the South with a Native upbringing, I was shaped by folk magick traditions and an early connection to Land spirits and the natural world. Years ago, a military move brought me to the Pacific Northwest, where I’ve continued to grow, practice, and build community alongside my husband and children.
For over a decade, I've served as the founder, leader, and organizer of a Pagan and Witchcraft community. Through public circles, annual festivals, and events, I've created spaces for connection, learning, and shared practice.
I’m a longtime 5-star Etsy seller, previously creating handcrafted potions and intentional magickal goods that have been trusted by thousands and featured in BUST magazine. Now I write books to share my knowledge, wisdom and experience. Every offering is rooted in years of practice, deep respect for the craft, and a commitment to authenticity and integrity.
Beyond my work in Witchcraft, I’m deeply committed to social justice, mutual aid, and advocacy for marginalized communities. For me, this is inseparable from my practice. Care, resistance, and community support are powerful forms of everyday magick.
