One of a Kind Quilted Art
I create one of a kind original quilted art pieces from my studio in the back of my century old bungalow located on the edge of the beautiful Central Texas Hill Country. I am a wife of a US Army veteran and a mother. I recently returned to the classroom after an 18 year break in which I raised my children and also worked in the accounting/bookkeeping fieId. My art career is a joy and I continue creating and entering exhibitions as a professional artist. I love to create and share my work.
I am a Quilt National’19 juried artist and I taught by invitation at Quilt National’19.
My work was exhibited at Sacred Threads in 2017 and 2019 (a North American juried exhibition of art quilts).
I exhibited at International Quilt Festival 2019 in Houston, Texas and my quilt was featured in the Houston Chronicle article about the show.
I am published and have written articles for “Quilting Arts Magazine”, “Art Quilt Stidio”, and “IQF: Quilt Scene 2015 Magazine”.
My sweet green owl postcard sized mini-quilt is pictured on page 7 of Quilting Arts Magazine's Dec 2010/Jan. 2011 issue and is featured on the set of Season 9 of Quilting Arts TV on PBS and DVD. WHOO-HOO!
My Amethyst Dream pendant is featured on pg. 85 of the July/August 2010 issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors Magazine
Finally, one of my Amethyst Dream pieces was chosen for the 2009 Fiber Arts Magazine Showcase of Fiber-art Valentines Web Exclusive Edition.
