We first started this shop in 2011 when we were expecting our 3rd baby and needed a bigger car. I was hoping to make just enough money to cover a car payment. Etsy seemed like the perfect place for someone like me. I have always loved to paint and this was a way to do what I love and hopefully make a little money, and not give up my time with my kids. With a lot of help and advice from friends who had done it before, we opened the shop and I got my first sale a few minutes later. I was thrilled!

Since then, we now have FOUR boys and am constantly grateful for this shop to help pay for school and sports, and life and everything else that comes up when you're raising children. And now all of my kids' teachers get hand painted signs as Christmas gifts :)

I have met some truly wonderful people and been able to design some signs for some great causes. I love sharing passions with customers and finding out that we love the same quotes and books or that someone else has all boys too or creating a custom sign for a special occasion.

Last year we started getting pretty busy around the holidays and I had to recruit my husband Nate to start helping. Now I create the designs and he cuts and sands the wood for me. We make a pretty good team!
