I am an artist based in western Massachusetts. In my home studio I create work inspired by nature. I love to explore different media and my most recent interest is making my own art materials out of things found in nature. Among the various works in my shop, you will find watercolor paintings made with natural mineral pigments created from rocks that were ground up and mulled into paint, and drawings made using onion skin, hazelnut, acorn ink, and more. But I haven't been able to limit myself to the muted colors found in nature - I also love bright colors and you will find acrylic paintings, prints, and collages in my shop representing that love!

Aside from handmade, one of a kind original artwork, I also have some pdf tutorials for sale so you can learn how to make your own natural art materials, as well as bind books (my previous identity on Etsy was as a bookbinder and boxmaker - something I still love but don't sell anymore).

Besides making art, my other interests include walking, hiking, camping, natural history museums, travel and exploring new cities. I became a mother in 2020 and one of the things I most look forward to as my daughter grows is working on art projects with her :)
