About

Hello! I'm Christin O'Bryan, graphic designer and hand lettering artist based in Greenville, South Carolina.

I've been drawing, designing, and whipping up all kinds of creative projects as long as I can remember. At 5 years old, this Illinois girl packed a box of stuffed animals and Crayola markers to get ready for a college career in art. While that box didn't stay packed for long, I eventually made graphic design my college major and continued to develop a great love of typography, hand lettering, bookbinding, and illustration.

If you visited my studio today, you might find me listening to audio books (mysteries are my favorite) while sketching out concepts, lettering a commissioned verse, or designing up a storm on my Mac.

Lute and Harp is the name I've given to my creative endeavors. The lyrics of Psalm 150 inspired the name. I believe that whatever I do—art or otherwise—I should be working to bring praise and glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
“Praise Him with trumpet sound;
praise Him with lute and harp!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!”
— Psalm 150:3, 6a
