A commercial and fine art photographer for the last 25 years Ann Cutting brings a simple, fresh and functional form to her ceramic pieces. The majority
of her work is wheel thrown and handbuilt with stoneware, porcelain and black mountain clay. Ann uses xerox transfer techniques and decals to combine her award-winning imagery with the claybody in a rich color palette obtained with high-fire reduction cone ten glazes. The ring bowls are textured by hand and use colorful oxidation mid fire glazes.
