A few years ago, I had only a few months left until graduation, when I discovered that I was pregnant with my son. As a way to help pay off school loans and save for the new baby, I began selling party supplies online. I ran my store from the corner of my bedroom, shipping each order myself, during my spare time between classes.
Shortly after graduation, as I was facing challenges with my health that were brought on by my pregnancy, I began to doubt how easy it would be to pursue a traditional corporate job as I had originally planned. Standing at a crossroad, I decided to take a chance and committed to the party store full-time.
Now, fast forward three more years and we have sold our balloon kits to over 100,000 customers, even including a few celebrities. Today, we are selling our party supplies from our own little warehouse, with a team of creative and passionate employees. When you place an order from our small shop, you are supporting our female-run team of local creatives, college students, moms, artists, and budding entrepreneurs. Together, we have built this business from the ground up, and we are committed to making even big things happen in the coming years.
