Some things about me
Sono un artista a tempo pieno che vive a Seattle Wa. Vivo in una piccola casa su una collina con mio marito, il gatto grasso Mogwai e un piccolo chihuahua giallo grasso di nome Bunny. Sono nato in estate in Oregon. All'epoca mio padre era un taglialegna e mia madre era un'operaia. Mia sorella era felice di incontrarmi, era già abbastanza grande per andare in bicicletta e avere animali domestici e ascoltare cassette. Sono stato a Washington da quando avevo circa 5 anni o giù di lì. Abbiamo viaggiato molto a causa del lavoro di mio padre e abbiamo persino vissuto su due isole, e una piccola barca per un po 'e mi è piaciuto molto giocare con tutte le strane creature marine che vivono nelle nostre gelide acque del nord-ovest.
Sono completamente autodidatta. Preferisco lavorare con la vernice acrilica. Mi piace dipingere ragazze, sangue e cose strane. Sogni, incubi, fiabe, tutti si fanno strada nei miei dipinti.
Possedevo una piccola galleria, Eight And Sand, nel quartiere Georgetown di Seattle. Ho messo su spettacoli mensili, solista e di gruppo. Mi è piaciuto promuovere altri artisti che lavorano sodo, locali e non locali.
Il mio lavoro è stato pubblicato in alcuni libri nel corso degli anni, in particolare in Big Eye Art Resurrected And Transformed di Blonde Blythe aka Toni Boozer. Ho anche avuto la fortuna di essere un artista nel progetto 78 Tarot.
Sono stato in molte mostre d'arte nel corso degli anni mostrando principalmente a Seattle e un po 'a livello nazionale. Attualmente ho opere d'arte in mostra a Seattle e a Los Angeles.
I am a full time artist living in Seattle Wa. I live in a tiny house on a hill with my husband, fat cat Mogwai, and one fat little yellow chihuahua named Bunny. I was born in the summer time in Oregon. At the time my dad was a logger and my mom was a factory worker. My sister was happy to meet me, she was already old enough to ride bikes and have pets and listen to cassette tapes. I have been in Washington since I was about 5 or so. We traveled around a lot because of my dads work and we even lived on two islands, and a little boat for a time and I loved playing with all the strange sea creatures that live in our icy Northwest waters.
I am fully self taught. I prefer to work with acrylic paint. I like to paint girls, blood, and strange things. Dreams, nightmares, fairy tales, they all make their way into my paintings.
I used to own a little gallery, Eight And Sand, in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle. I put on monthly shows, solo ,and group. I enjoyed promoting other hard working, local, and non local artists.
My work has been published in a few books over the years, most notably in Big Eye Art Resurrected And Transformed by Blonde Blythe aka Toni Boozer. I have also been lucky enough to be an artist in the 78 Tarot project.
I have been in many art shows over the years showing mainly around Seattle and a little nationally. I currently have artwork on display around Seattle and In Los Angeles.
