Chic N Rustic was started after I produced the decor including bunting, table runners, placemats, center pieces and flower jars for our rustic chic inspired wedding in March 2014. After receiving many encouraging comments regarding the decor on the day I thought I could continue this creativity beyond just one day. I have been sewing since I was old enough to sit in front of my mothers sewing machine and owe all my crafty skills to her. I love to paint and sew and I’m always ready for a challenge if there is a particular custom items you are looking for.

Since then our product range has expanded greatly, just like our family, to now include wooden products created by my very talent husband. He sources most his timber locally from family properties throughout Australia including Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland, and has imported a few rarer types from the United States on occasion. All the wooden items advertised are made and ready to ship. All items are unique as they are handcrafted from different pieces of wood. He can create hand turned pens, letter opened, bottle stoppers, cheese knives, shaving sets and much more. If you have something particular in mind please don’t hesitate to ask as he loves a good excuse to spend more time in the shed.
