An old shop with new ideas in a modern era
I have always enjoyed making items or projects and usually have an idea or project brewing. I work full time in a job where it seems things never really close or end, often juggling new or renewed tasks. Which, I love, but it's really nice to create something once and be done with it!
In 2011, I believe, I opened my Etsy shop, selling dictionary art prints, which, I also just kind of fell into. I loved designing and creating items. Actually making them was a little stressful and the world kind of moved on from those things. I, unfortunately, did not move along with it. I paused my shop a couple years ago, not certain of my future on Etsy.
But, I love Etsy and connecting with a customer and, honestly, who doesn't love making a few extra dollars? I enjoyed designing products. I recently learned about Canva and every day, I learn something new. As a person in my 40s, who's moved through so much of the internet, it's amazing what this platform can do intuitively or with a little nudge. It's easy to put your own spin on something or just launch from the ground up.
I recently learned about print on demand products and I was skeptical. However, I really love the idea of designing and item, and it gets created and delivered to a user. I find many items tend to be repeats of someone else's idea. I don't like that at all. I plan to sell unique items, that I would buy. I hope you enjoy my ideas and products and I look forward to learning more with you.
