In the past I had a shop that contained handcrafted baby items. Since then, my husband decided we needed to buy a little farmhouse that was homesteaded in 1866. What a change! We now raise a small herd of miniature dairy goats and are enjoying making soap made of the milk I milk by hand. Hence the change in shop and product! New home, new endeavors!

This is way too adorable. I had to take pictures and send it to my overseas friends, to brag about my unique findings. I cant wait for my baby girl to wear it and show everyone that being stylish is the way to live. :D We will really cherish every stitch invested in these lovely coats and shoes, as they are made with lots of care and precision.

Handmade items from an 1866 homestead

Years ago I began my shop with baby jackets and accessories that I fashioned by hand using repurposed fabric and wool felt. Since then, we have moved to the country...to a house built in the 1800s and 6 acres of land where we raise a very small herd of ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats. Honestly, these little goats are some of my best friends.

I have simply fallen in love with milking them and learning to make soap by hand. My soap has no added water and is made the old fashioned cold process way in small batches. Each bar varies by weight and pattern as they are handmade items.

Goat milk soap is creamy and moisturizing. It smells wonderful and is said to have natural antibacterial properties. I am sure your skin will LOVE it!
