It is always about leather. I have a passion for leather. I love its diversity and especially its durability.

It was the eighties, I Was 21 years old and my sister wanted a pair of suede pants. I was already deep into my sewing skills but all revolving around fabric fashion- no leather. In spite of this, I went to the yellow pages-found- Dipilla Leather and made my way to Spadina Ave. in Toronto's then fashion district.

Leather clothing slowly developed into leather accessories that I was then wholesaling to Toronto stores. By my thirties wholesaling had transformed into the much more satisfying role of selling my work directly to my clientele through the Ontario craft show circuit.

It was then that my skills as a leathersmith truly began to develop. I taught myself bag making, and have spent years designing and developing an extensive small leather goods line.

It is with this back ground that I am now able to offer individually the separate components that go into producing fine leather work.

I have been working with leather for well over 20 years. With this shop, my intent is to provide high quality leather pieces to support others in their journey with leather.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
Please be thoughtful when you choose to order. If something arrives and it is not what you expected you may exchange it against something else in my shop. In this case you would have to pay the return postage and the postage for this new arrival. If you really. really do not want the item or any other Craft Component item then it may be returned but I with hold a 20% restocking fee.
If your item is defective -that is a different story and once it has been returned I would do a complete refund.
I do find most of us are quite reasonable so the main thing is to get into communication mode and we'll figure things out.
Payment
Payment is accepted through pay pal or through Etsy, due at check out.
Shipping
I ship on Tuesdays and Fridays.
I ship my orders with Canada Post. US orders are taking about a week.
Canadian orders are 2-3 business days.

European and Australian orders are taking 4-6 weeks! Now, this is mainly because I list my items with the least expensive shipping method. If someone wants to pay $25.00-$30.00 more I can create an expedited shipping listing and your order should reach you in about a week. You would need to convos me that you would like me to do this for you.
Privacy
Information I Collect
To fulfil your order, you must provide me with certain information (which you authorised Etsy to provide to me), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. You may also choose to provide me with additional personal information (for a custom order leather item), if you contact me directly.

* as necessary for the purpose of my legitimate interests, if those legitimate interests are not overridden by your rights or interests, such as 1) providing and improving my services. I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.



Information Sharing and Disclosure
Information about my customers is important to my business. I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
* Etsy. I share information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
* Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
* Compliance with laws. Data Retention
I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. However, I may also be required to retain this information to comply with my legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce my agreements. Canadian tax laws want me to keep my business data for 7 years.



Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU
I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, I may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If I am deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, I rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.


Your Rights
