Mild Fabric Obsession
What better way to enable a habit? Partake in a cycle of procuring adorable fabric, making something cute, selling it for $$ and then starting the whole circle all over again! That's basically my current business model. BUT! I have big plans. When I'm not tending to a household and children that is.
I'm a mama with lots of ideas but also lots of responsibility so sometimes my little business here takes a backseat. Inspiration is always bubbling however and I try to create every week if not every day. I love making things with my hands and love it even more when people like my pieces enough to purchase them. I remain humbly excited of the idea that my items are out there in the world making people happy!
My business started out in 2006 under my old name Craftysassi. In 2007, I went through a name change. All of my items are branded accordingly with Little Red Birdie. You can also find my info at littleredbirdie.com
Every single item in my shop is 100% made by me. I design, sew, applique, photograph, market, and ship everything from my DC area home. I use high quality fabrics and hardware. Most items are one of a kind or very limited additions. All leather components, accents, and accessories are re-purposed from other items.
