About Eve & Createve
Painting, patterns and florals have become my obsession.
From a very young age I was an arts and crafts enthusiast.
In school I took Art, Textiles and Graphics A levels, then moved on to art college specialising in textiles and prints. My love of printing and designing for textiles grew and grew and therefore, I studied Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern design at Leeds College of Art.
Leaving university I created Createve, producing hand painted designs and digitally printed products. I needed an outlet to continue to have the creative freedom found at university, to design without restriction and direction from others.
I wanted to be able to create products that are stylish, colourful and most of all unique, as an alternative to high street brands.
I began trading in a collaborative shop with other designers and independent brands in Skipton, North Yorkshire. The range included silk scarves, cushions and tote bags.
The interest and support from you wonderful locals and tourists gave me great encouragement to continue painting and designing for Createve.
