Creature Cups fue ideado durante varias sesiones nocturnas de lluvia de ideas de café en mi estudio de Brooklyn. Comencé pequeño, con solo unos pocos diseños que estaban cerca de mi corazón, y me puse a hacer tazas divertidas e interesantes de las que la gente estaría emocionada de beber. ¡Las primeras tazas, que les di a amigos y familiares, fueron un gran éxito! Después de recibir algunos comentarios, decidí ir más allá con el concepto y comencé a vender mis tazas. Usando las solicitudes de los clientes y la inspiración de la naturaleza, el arte y la cultura popular, agregué a la cantidad de criaturas que ofrecí. Luego, a fines del año pasado, hice un gran cambio en mi vida y trasladé toda mi operación a un nuevo estudio en Austin, Texas. Mi entorno y mi vida son un poco diferentes ahora, pero cada Creature Cup todavía está hecha con el mismo amor y cuidado que los primeros. ¡Espero que disfrutes usándolos tanto como yo disfruto haciéndolos!

Creature Cups was dreamed up over several late-night coffee brainstorming sessions at my Brooklyn studio. I started small, with just a few designs that were close to my heart, and set about making fun and interesting cups that people would be excited to drink from. The first cups, which I gave to friends and family, were a big hit! After getting some feedback, I decided to go bigger with the concept and started actually selling my cups. Using customer requests and inspiration from nature, art, and popular culture I added to the number of creatures I offered. Then, late last year, I made a big change in my life and moved my entire operation to a new studio in Austin, Texas. My surroundings and life are a little different now, but each Creature Cup is still made with the same love and care as the first few. I hope you enjoy using them as much as I enjoy making them!
