Hello and welcome.

My name is Kamila.
I'm originally from the Czech Republic. That's where I grew up, and where my grandma Vera introduced me to hooks, needles, yarns, ribbons, fabric, clay, beads, buttons, and snaps. I have always enjoyed creating and repurposing.

Being crafty not only kept me from trouble, but also gave me the opportunity to express myself, to be unique, to be different. Main motivation was the limited fashion behind the Wall. This was also the beginning of free styling. I always figured out my way to get/make what I needed but rarely I took the proper prep work, correct steps, detailed finish. I sewn various badly structured tops and dresses. I knitted myself my first sweater at the age of 16 (it was black and I proudly I lived in it.)

It has changed. Now, my craft helps me to unwind and to relax.
It's my therapy. My joy. My escape.
I enjoy the making process as much as the pride moment of finishing one.
I love the idea of handmade wardrobe; the one and only unique pieces.

I've recently started sewing more to compliment my knitted garments. Teaching myself the proper steps and following patterns.

I like to make practical everyday items. I want you to enjoy them. I want the hat to be your favorite hat, and the blanket to be the keeper till college. I prefer to use natural fibers. I really like complimenting colors and textures.
I work in a smoke free environment.

I am very grateful for the skills I have and the passion I find in creating.
