¡Bienvenido! Soy Mihaela, la gente me llama Michelle. Anteriormente estuve involucrada en el sistema "Fast Fashion" como diseñadora de moda, maquilladora y estilista de moda. Ahora me considero un artesano. Para mí, esta es una cuestión de identidad, la mía, que no se pierde en la industria, sino que se transfiere espontáneamente al material, y la suya, que se transforma, se reinventa en lugar de convertirse en desperdicio. Por eso trabajo con el cuero dejándome inspirar por su materialidad, sus historias pero también sus imperfecciones.
Cada pieza cumple con al menos tres de los criterios ECO:
- Se produce éticamente con respeto por las personas y el medio ambiente
- es totalmente casero utilizando habilidades artesanales / artesanales - los tratamientos de cuero o tela (corte, envejecimiento o angustia, endurecimiento o skiving, pintura, etc.) son hechos a mano. Donde es posible, también lo son los puntos de sutura. También la marca y los materiales de comercialización son en su mayoría hechos a mano.
- se recicla total o parcialmente, por lo tanto, está hecho de restos de cuero del proceso de diseño de moda industrial que de otro modo se considerarían residuos.
Welcome! I'm Mihaela – people call me Michelle. Formerly I was involved in the "Fast Fashion" system as fashion designer, make-up artist and fashion stylist. Now I consider myself an artisan. For me, this is a matter of identity – mine, which doesn't get lost into industry but spontaneously transfer onto the material, and theirs - which is transformed, reinvented rather than turn into waste. Therefore I work with leather letting myself inspired by its materiality, its stories but also its imperfections.
Each piece complies with at least three of the ECO criterias:
- It's ethically produced with respect for people and the environment
- it's entirely homemade using craft/artisan skills - leather or fabric treatments (cutting, ageing or distressing, hardening or skiving, painting, etc) are handmade. Where it's possible so are the stitches. Also the branding and merchandising materials are mostly handmade.
- it's entirely or partialy recycled therefore made of leather leftovers of the industrial fashion design process otherwise considered waste.
