The Philosophical Forager
I began collecting minerals and fossils in 2013, after moving to Washington state from Los Angeles. Previously, I spent little time in the woods or rock hunting as the hobby wasn't accessible. Once I was out of the city I began searching for the many, elusive, localities within the US - I never really stopped. I spent close to two years car camping across the country, in search of new locale's. I now find myself consistently in the field, with the confidence to solo camp & the knowledge of a (somewhat) naturalist. I've collected many oddities within my decades worth of experience. I've also garnered the friendships of those with a lifetime of experience being out in the wild, & am fortunate enough to be sharing their collections with you today. I am more than honored to be offering miner-direct specimens that were sourced within the United States, it's truly been a blessing.
