I love photography, collage, vegetarian cooking, connecting with friends, everything vintage, as well as traveling and exploring this amazing world we live in. I have never met a vegetable I didn’t like and have traveled far and wide, including an exciting solo adventure to the Arctic Circle.
I live in a 100+ year-old house in a tiny apartment full of books and art. I design and manufacture the buttons we sell in our second store (Prickly Cactus Collage - http://pricklycactuscollage.etsy.com) as well as the stationery and gifts you see here, in a little nook in front of an exposed brick wall, looking out over our overgrown backyard where Oreo loves to play. Our neighbourhood is rapidly gentrifying and might best be described as vibrant and gritty. Although we are in Canada’s biggest city - Toronto - we have set down strong roots here. Our home is full of music and poetry - from bluegrass to punk rock, and new wave to house music.
As a professional artist I have shown my collage and photographic works in galleries in Toronto, NYC and Ireland, but I am excited to share what I like to call “miniature works of art” in the form of pinback buttons, magnets and greeting cards here on Etsy. I think of buttons, magnets and pins as a small, stylish and fun way to show your individuality and personality.
