Deck Vintage strives in the preservation of historic items and rather than full restoration; all electronic and mechanical devices have been tested, serviced, professionally repaired when needed and are fully operational before listed to be sold. Patina, paint loss and typical wear are characteristics that give some items more charm and recognition to the items age. Any flaws or wear are visible in photos, no surprises and no BS.

Deck Vintage follows the standard, 7-day Etsy return policy including serviced and working electronic and mechanical items. Given the nature of such old items (ex: there are many clocks 75-100 years old) some operational flaws could possibly show up later even after our strict and thorough service and testing process. If such a situation should occur, a buyer may return the item for additional service or repair in which the item will be brought back into our shop, serviced and/or repaired, then returned to buyer. A refund as per Etsy policies will be submitted if it cannot be repaired or if you simply would rather that option.

Don't expect the "you're on your own" type of eBay seller, you can buy with confidence from a cool, everchanging selection of high-quality items along with knowledgeable and available customer service as well as the drive and ability to back it up.

I do not use any AI in descriptions, titles or correspondence and never will. All photos are of actual items sold, taken by me. I sell only true vintage (20 years old minimum) with a focus on 40-50 years, being of the 70s-80s era. I personally research and authenticate every item and conduct all aspects of repair, servicing and testing. Although my qualifications may be kind of ambiguous. I'm just a Fine Arts dropout and I was a carpenter in Chicago by trade for 30 years, but-I have always been a retro electronics nerd and into vintage everything, from classic cars to fashion and toys, even as a kid, for what all that's worth.

I have been a seller for 15 years, selling more casually/on the side alongside my own collecting until a few years ago when a devastating diagnosis forced a career change upon me. This is now my sole means of survival, a small business I take very seriously and will always work my hardest to provide the best to you as a buyer for your much appreciated support.
