Beautiful--the photo does not do justice to the way light goes through them and makes the colors glow. Excellent transaction.

The Rise & Shine rooster necklace is uber cool! Thanks for being so prompt. :) nmj

About

Friendly Monsters are handmade, huggable plush toys that want to come home with you. They love kids, and hardly ever bite them.

The first monster I made was a gift to my one-year-old niece, who immediately named it “Friend.” I made a couple more after that, as gifts for friends' babies, and have only recently started making them for the general public. Each one is designed and sewn by me in my home studio in rural Montague, MA.

These monsters are composed of a mix of new and vintage cotton prints, faux fur, upholstery fabric, fleece, bark cloth, and wool-blend felt, stuffed with new polyester filling. If your monster gets dirty, please spot-clean it.

Welcome! deway is a one-woman operation. I describe and photograph my items as accurately as humanly possible. Everything is handmade and sturdy. I am happy to do custom orders; contact me and we'll work something out.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept Paypal or credit card. Payment must be made at time of purchase. If payment is not made within 24 hours, the transaction will be canceled and the item will be returned to stock.
Shipping
** In order to get your monster before Christmas, I recommend ordering by December 17.**

All items pictured are finished and ready to ship. I mail out Priority Mail packages twice a week via the USPS in Montague, MA, 01351. If you wish to insure your package, I will do so for the price of insurance. The USPS says priority mail should take 2 to 3 days to arrive.

OUTSIDE OF THE U.S.: I will ship for the actual cost of shipping and any associated fees.
Refunds and Exchanges
I describe and photograph my items as accurately as humanly possible. Because these soft fabric monsters are virtually unable to be "broken" in shipping (unless the postal service does something catastrophic in transit), no refunds or returns will be given or allowed. Please ask me anything you'd like before making a purchase.
Additional policies and FAQs
Custom orders are welcome, and will usually take one week to create. Contact me with your proposed specifications (number of arms, fabric choices, fins/horns/scales, eye color, teeth options, etc.), and I will come up with a price for you.

My monsters are sturdily sewn and built to last under an average amount of play and use. I am happy to repair seams, etc. for free that fail under normal conditions, but you must pay for shipping to and from my home.
