friendly monsters and more.

Friendly Monsters are handmade, huggable plush toys that want to come home with you. They love kids, and hardly ever bite them.

The first monster I made was a gift to my one-year-old niece, who immediately named it “Friend.” I made a couple more after that, as gifts for friends' babies, and have only recently started making them for the general public. Each one is designed and sewn by me in my home studio in rural Montague, MA.

These monsters are composed of a mix of new and vintage cotton prints, faux fur, upholstery fabric, fleece, bark cloth, and wool-blend felt, stuffed with new polyester filling. If your monster gets dirty, please spot-clean it.
